Sew Not Over

I'm so tired of this. Actually I'm not really good at sewing things but it's inevitable for my case. I have these fashion projects: an ensemble of blouse and pants, a non-textile design and an upcoming geometric design. I've been working on the Non-Textile for like, a week now. I've been going to school since friday.. yes, including weekends, and I have to stay very late (the latest one I had to stay was until 11.15 PM). Quite pain in the a@#.

But I'm so happy it's almost done, all I need is to shorten up the top, pinched a bit.. but the velcro.. and that's it. I was happy to see all the classmates also done with em. Can't wait for the fashion show. Now I need to relax today (after one helluva week) and takes everything slow.. one pattern at a time. :D

She's back! and for real this time. Although I'm not sure that she's 100% fine, but, her latest record is one of the best. Best of luck for her. Just a lil fact: I used new fonts! :D

My Kind Of Valentine

Valentines Day was made for couples.. but singles made it better.

Last night was a wee bit out of control; we got drinks! aha. After we had dinners at the fancy but not tasty Rustic Kitchen, we went to Stephanie's house for some good times. Well, one of my friend got so wasted so fast, she went to bed first. Ha! me in the other hand, talked with other friends (Korean, Japan, Indo too) until like 3 AM. I'm not a big drinker actually, I prefer sipping cocktails or other well-tasted drinks rather than taking 5 shots of tequila or whatever (although, sometimes it's quite liberating to do that). I went to bed at 5 AM with massive headache and woke up at 2.30 PM. Thank God we have extended holiday! D

12.30 PM: Woke up. Checked iPods. Getting ready 4 school.

01.00 PM: In the shower

01.20 PM: Leakfast? Brunch? can't decide. (Went with oatmeals and a cookie)

02.04 PM: Class in Session (out at 3.10ish)

03.30 PM: Found out, Public Speaking got cancelled (Score!)

03.40 PM: Workout at a Gym (for the first time! since November 08!)

05.11 PM: Out of gym, went to various bookstores.

05.20 PM: Had dinner at Samurai Boston. Nice sushi! I believe sushi is the tastiest and chic-est food in the world. I ordered this sushi deluxe and some fusion roll and the squid salad is delish.

06.11 PM: Back at home!

07.00 PM: Watched 'United States of Tara' and 'Heroes' back2back.

08.56 PM: Typing this blog... and wondering what am I gonna do next. D

On The Record

Hey.. it's been a while. The weather is in good behavior lately, no more over-coldness.. and also, the snow begins to fade. alright.

Well, it's been a lil busy for me now, especially the fashion projects. I got 2 projects, one is a set of blouse and pants and the non-textile garment due 2 weeks from now. I dunno if I can do that in time, but.. I gotta have to work under pressure I guess. I have the cool idea for the design, but I won't release it for now cuz I don't wanna just talking, better wait for the result.

Anyway, last night was the Grammy Awards! not really great tho, but the music is tight; Coldplay, Justin Timberlake, Al Green, Katy Perry, Adele etc. I like Adele latelys (check out "Chasing Pavements".. it's gorge) and happy she won awards. John Mayer also won too ("Say")! Too bad, lots of diva no shows, Rihanna & Chris Brown cancelled the arrival (u guys shud check the entertainment news, it's everywhere!). Oh btw, Estelle's "American Boy" is my latest favorite. The Grammy effect. ha.

Oh! I recommend you to watch "He's Just Not That Into You" (Jen Aniston, Drew, Scarlett, Ben Affleck etc.) It's a good, fun movie. Good for chicks tho. I never really like the cheesy romantic movie, but this one is an exception. Good one!

Givenchy's current designer, Ricardo Tisci, brings the house to the top once more. I really like the androgynous goth inspired in his designs, but for this spring, i can see a bit of cowboys here and there - the faux chaps and all. Loves it!

U guys can listen to the song in this blog. I love the new direction the song takes! Christina (or shud we say, Christina version 4.0) is going for the electronic, futuristic element for the next record, which scheduled to be released this year! :D. Back to the song, it's actually a remake from an old song that originally sung by Marlene Dietrich and then covered by so many artists, including the great Billie Holiday. This song has this moody minimalistic electronica and.. very James Bond-ish (Aidee, u got it right!).

The original American Idol is back! "Since U Been Gone" was her signature song that brought us Kelly Clarkson, the rock star. Then, she came out last 2007 with moody rock album, which kinda brought her down. But this song, will bring Kelly back to her triumph! This Rock-pop song produced by Dr. Luke & Max Martin (Britney, Katy Perry) is the fresh song to start the '09.

The male version of 'Irreplaceable". Easy pop, guitar driven song that everyone can appreciate. In my case, I was a little late. Ha!

French revolution! yep, lately I really like French songs (only Anggun tho). But, this band has caught my attention. This techno-rock song is so fun! even tho I have no idea what the song's about. It's good for dancing, fashion show.. or even shower singing.

This one is really catchy. This heavily influenced by hip-hop song is really good for dance floor! I've been listening to this song since "I Am.. Sasha Fierce" came out. Actually this is my third favorite songs from the album ("Boy" and "Single Ladies" on no. 1 & 2). Actually beside the infectious beats, the video is the one makes this song even catchier. The video contains in-your-face couture styles.. with urban twists. In short.. Diva is here to stay.

Slow Updates

January is famous for slow in updates.. in news, emails.. etc. In fact, I'm getting slow too. I realize I don't do much thing and abandon this blog. I'm getting lazy. I know, it's about the person.. but I gotta tell u, the cold weather slow me down. a lot. sigh.
Yea.. anyway, I'm waiting for this slowww delivery of my bag! yes, i purchased a new messenger bag that I think is big enough for me! :D .. AND despite the slow updates, I'm very excited! that I'll going back home this summer! :D

Holiday Pounds

I admit it.. i gained a very big amount of pounds during holidays. I gained 12 pounds to be exact (8 kg).
I'm in a state of shock right now. I am. I'm sad and whatever.. but this time, the commitment thingy gotta be serious. I think that's my old-new resolution. Blah.

Ok.. so now.. talking bout pounds.. reminds me about the stuffs that I have to do now. This year, I've planned to move out to new apartment, buy a car.. apply some IDs.. and school projects. this year's gonna be a tough one. sigh.. o yeah, yesterday, i took my macbook to apple store cuz there's storage issue.. hardware and software issues as well. Then, I met up this technician and he suggested me to re-install the software. Little did i know, he installed a new OS! SO.. my macbook was upgraded from OSX Tiger to Leopard! o yeah! I'm stoked! :D

Ok.. back to me. I'm still in nocturnal mode.. thanks to my holidays (I went to SF.. and my sleeping time was messed up). I gotta go sleep now.. to get some ... i dk.. health? D
