MIXER December '09: Rihanna

The return of the pop princess. Well, she's like the hot stuff since "Umbrella" came out, and she's still is, until the Chris Brown scandal and it just put her to Britney Spears level of fame. Rihanna is like Britney and Christina and Justin back in 2002; from sweet pop star, transformed into this hot, sexy and dark stars. And I'm loving it.

MIXER November '09: Megan Fox

It's the Hollywood Issue! and you know why I put Megan Fox on it ('cause I'm obsessed with her). The Transformers princess caught my eye since the first time I saw her in - of course - Transformers. But I became obsessed when she starred in "Jennifer's Body"; the movie is so quirky, almost B-Movie ish, dark, geeky and sexy. She's this half demon, half resident bitch in high school that's so brilliant to me. Megan Fox screams hotness.

MIXER October '09: Adam Lambert

I've been planning to put Adam on the cover since I heard his performance of "Track of My Tears" which moved me so much. I felt the emotion of the song and I kinda clicked with it. Besides, I like his flamboyant style on Idol stage - which gave Idol a much-needed extra 'kick'. I think he's the first idol contestant that makes me excited & wanting for more. To this day I still think that Adam Lambert is the real winner.

MIXER September '09: Lady Gaga

We goin' gaga for Lady Gaga. Actually it's not really strange to find out that Gaga is everywhere, grace every fashion magazines with her quirky-androgynous look. Thanks to her uberhit "Just Dance" and "Poker Face". She's truly a unique individual, and pure artist that I really enjoy and adore!

MIXER August '09: Katy Perry

She's one of the hottest breakout female artists of the year, and she's cute! Katy Perry's songs have been played countlessly and gained so many good reviews (and fans too) and of course I wouldn't miss her to be on the cover!

MIXER July '09: Green Day

Green Day is back after 5 years absent from releasing new record. I have no other reason why I chose em. I just like them styles in this pic, and I love their hit "Boulevard of Broken Dreams".

MIXER June '09: Bono

I like U2's new single, Get On Your Boots, cuz it's fun and upbeat. Besides, it was used for Dolce & Gabbana Fall 09 show, so it's fashionable (I Think). Regardless, Bono is a legend in his own right, he's a philantrophist and a rocker! good combo.

MIXER May '09: Taylor Swift

If this moment were like it was 2000, Miley Cyrus would be the Britney Spears, Jonas Brothers would fill the spot for NSync and Taylor Swift will be the Christina Aguilera (the talented one. Although Demi Lovato is the best Disney singers. I know, I happens to know alot about Disney stars). Since I tend to look talent over fame, I pick Taylor for the cover. I think she's a wonderful songwriter and her song, as sweet as it can be, it's very catchy. So, which ever Jonas who broke up with her, shame on you. D

MIXER April '09: Beyoncé

Queen B is on the cover, two to be exact. I can't decide which cover suits the best, so I just going for both of 'em. So I put is as so-called collector edition. Beyoncé is the hottest diva in the business today! she's everywhere. Her latest album is her best work yet! I'd definitely put a ring on it. D

MIXER March '09: Britney Spears

It's Britney, Bitch.

She's back! and for real this time. Although I'm not sure that she's 100% fine, but, her latest record is one of the best. Best of luck for her. Just a lil fact: I used new fonts! :D

MIXER February '09: Coldplay

Two words: Cold. Play. The February issue is here! and Coldplay is the cover star. I love the band's last record and their new album isn't dissapoint either. Well. yea. that's it. :D

MIXER January '09: Kanye West

It's the Entertainer of the Year issue!

In this 2009 issue, it marks Mixer departure to more sophisticated direction and more artsy. It's has more entertainment aspects than it used to had. Also, the new fonts and stuff.

I put Kanye West on the cover, because he has everything a rock star should has: talent, style and controversy. When u hear his name, u think about arrogant. He's arrogant, but he can back it all up! He also has a kick-ass album 808s & Heartbreak which I listen to everyday! Enjoy -D

MIXER December '08: Twilight

Another month, another cover. MIXER December features the 'it' movie of the year: Twilight. I Decided to put the stars (Kristen Stewart & Robert Pattinson) on the cover just because they're ridiculously good looking and! the buzz is undeniable. Twilight got a lot of raves since earlier this year, so, I think they fit the bill for December cover. Enjoy! (D)

Pink is the latest star to grace MIXER cover, to celebrate her new upcoming record Funhouse. I like the slim fonts to make it simple and readable. BTW, this is my second attempt for the cover and eventually scrapped the first cover and go with this one. :d Comments! D

MIXER is back!

yep, my fake magazine cover arts. I've been doing this magazine cover arts since 2002! and as u can see, My last post about MIXER was in December 2007 (Amy Winehouse issue).

And, it's been nine months without MIXER magazine post. So! I'll just post 10 art covers from January to October. I put Kanye, Madonna, Mariah and even Britney on the cover. So.. enjoy!!

The latest issue is the October issue, featuring Zac Efron for the Hollywood Issue.

The Diva, The Demons and The Mixer

I don't know what exactly was on my mind. Recent days, I went emotional and balistic.. out of control, insane. I wish I could get rid of em all, quick; otherwise, I can't be a good human being. I wanna be good.

Btw, Beyoncé will have a live concert here in Jakarta and I'm beyond excited! I really want to go to the show (It costs 650 thousand plus, which is suck). But, hopefully, my parent will lemme go see the concert, since I missed Christina Aguilera back in August in Singapore.

Okie Dokie, I got new MIXER cover for December issue, featuring miss Amy Winehouse. Go check it out, it's End-of-Year issue! She looked artsy, soberish and gorgeous!
