Back To Reality

Yes.. Here i am. After a week of spring break in New York, I feel brand new: Lazier.

I don't wanna go to school! argh! I'm already used to the life on a break! just kidding. I have to go to school :(

The Break started with Rani came to Boston. We spent great times here, really. The cheesecake, chips.. it was a blast! (i know u will be vomiting by the time u read this Ran). After 2 days in Boston, we headed to NYC!

I was in New York for Spring Break and spent the night at Rani's place in New Jersey haha.. We spent days wandering around New York. We went to NY by bus (which was annoying), but it was ok, until i witnessed the TIME SQUARE. It was out of body experience. I felt sooo happy, even though i was so tired (i brought a long my 10 kgs of bag, i believe) and upset (the consulate of Indo was closed!). Basically, It was a fun experience tho which I will treasure my whole life. There's only me and Rani, 2 Indonesian who didn't know anything about NY at all, but finally we managed to handle it (thanks to Rani).

I visited Central Park, Ground Zero (WTC), Rockefeller Cente, etc. I also took picture with the famous Naked Cowboy (he wasn't literally naked tho) and we both addicted to Jamba Juice. Oh ya! the popcorn (Dale & Thomas' gourmet popcorn) was soooo good. Thank God there's one here in Boston (Quincy Market).

I was having the great time ever there! but again, i must admit that, New York ain't really my kinda place. I like it here in Boston. Perhaps, I'm gonna change my mind about continuing school in New York. Perhaps LA. or Boston. Whatever.

Bored

Gosh, I'm bored.

I got plenty bad things happen to me. I got twisted sleeping hour which is soo annoying. As u can see, I write this post at 4 AM. I don't know why..

Anyway, I just bought new camera today. It's Canon Digital SLR. So happy, excited and scared. I didn't even open the box right now. Maybe tomorrow, whatever. I have a lot of exercises and assignments which is crazy. I feel like I'm a fish out o water. This crazy schedule and busy activities really took my body to the lowest point and also, I didn't eat healthy.. which is suck.

O well.. I just wanna update tho.. see ya later :D

What I Like

Yea! it's weekend. Today is actually Saturday morning. 2:47 in the morning. I know.. I slept around 7 p.m. and woke up at 1 a.m. so here I am.

I got idea for my new post, about what I like recently (just popped out of my brain). Here's my favorite things for today:

Music: I really like Madonna's new single "4 Minutes to Save The World" feat. Justin & Timbaland. Freakin' awesome. The beat is sick! and I like my new headset! Sony noise-cancelling headset which is now my bestfriend at night (the friggin' noisy drunk people outside really buggin me every 2/3 am).

Fashion: Balenciaga all the way (in term of design tho). Nicolas Ghesquiére is really a genius! totally haute couture! haha and my favorite line is FCUK for now. They offer really great taste in men clothing. I just really diggin' it.

Food: Au Bon Pain. Yea, after eating Chinese food for a while.. I'm craving for Western ones which is a benefit for me now. Get it? hehe

Animals: Jokker Rockey! my pets. Miss them so much as you can see in my profiles from Myspace to Friendster to Yahoo.

Well.. that's all. Not so much things tho as I thought I would have. Anyway, today's plan is I'm gonna clean up my room and gonna buy new camera. After 2 months not taking pictures (with proper tool) perhaps today it's my chance! :D

Tired...

I get really tired nowadays.. caused by the homework (tons of em) and the assignment (needs a lot of time). So, I really wasted.

Yesterday, I'm sooo happy when I got to present my work. I had to do a presentation about five designs of skirt and each of em has a different type: dirndl, sheath, circular, pegged and flared. I felt really good about that. I think I did impressed the teacher and the other girls (yes, I'm the only guy in there and Asian too!). Mission accomplished!

I got test for Math today which I stumbled a bit because, I got to optimistic and suddenly my brain was blank. I was really mad! thank God the teacher is easy on me. So, I hoped I did well on dat.

oK.. About tiredness, I'm seriously looking like shit. Flabby stomach, pale face, weird hair.. any bad thing you could imagine. I hate this.. I really wanna do something about this. First, gotta find gym. Second, go to salon and Third, sleep. Yea.. i need a looooooot of sleep. My body is out of power now. See ya

Three Days Weekend

I'm so Glad I got 3 day off (Sat - Mon). I felt refreshed and happy, of course. For the last 3 day weekend, I travelled around the city a lot (and so far it's farthest I ever went since I came here) and ate a lot and shop a lot.

16 Feb

I went to BORDERS to bought 3 new magazines, People, Entertainment Weekly and BAZAAR. I found it so funny because I'm always a fan of magazines and now I have to purchase them regularly for my assignment (as for Fund. Apparel Design) which needs a lot mounts of sample photos from mags.

That day, I decided to went on different route: Boylston, instead of Newbury St. I found this Prudential Centre Shopping Arcade. The place is so nice.

Then I went to Cheesecake Factory to lunch for one (so sad). I ordered bite size burgers for appetizer and a Spicy Chicken Chipotle Pasta (which is so superb). But what makes me wonder is the appetizer. It says bite size burgers but apparently it's like a junior whopper! and there's 4 of em in a plate! nutso. Since I'm starving like crazy I ended up eating all of em; the appetizer, main course. I ate so much that I couldn't even hungry at night.

I also went to Urban Outfitters and found nothing interesting at all and went to Best Buy to buy mouse pad and power supply for ipod. Then, I slept at 9 PM, because I was so friggin' tired already.

17 Feb

I woke up at 9 AM and it's still holiday! I just being lazy throughout the morning; I chat, opened emails etc. I decided to went to Prudential centre again to grab lunch (I went to Panda Express) and went off to Best Buy again (I bought 2 DVDs Transformers and No Reservation. I know, I can't get enough of Transformers). Then, I decided to go to Cambridge Galleria Mall via green line T. It is located at the end of the green line! which is crazy! I have to go through 7 stops! sigh..

So I went there.. and there's a big mall and It's crowded! There's American Eagle, Apple Store etc. I went there to check my ipod if there's anything wrong (and there isn't any). After 2 hours spending time there, I went off back to downtown.. to check some headset and ended up buying one (a Sony.. so nice and clear) and I went back home and relaxed throughout the night.

18 Feb (Today)

I felt tired. 2 Days of walking around town is washed out my energy. I need to relax more and become a homebuddy, that I always been. I decided to having a great lunch. I bought Orange Chicken & BBQ Chicken at a mall and went home. I cooked the rice and the veggies (I made spinach today). Perfect!

So here I am, typing the blog as I recall the memories and thinking what would I do after this.
I'm gonna finish the Transformers movie, do my homework, buying indomies and meats and veggies, go back home, do the rest of the homework and then sleep. I'm so predictable.

What A Day!

Today is interesting; Although it could be ambiguous.

I went to classes, back home, back to school again, back home, dropped my bag, went off to the market.. bought rices, sushi and magazines (BLENDER & RollingStone, with Britney on the cover). Then, went home, ate sushi and slept at 5.30 PM until 11 PM. Right now it's 3.58 AM.

I have to make a confession. Yea, yesterday I didn't sleep at all. I slept at 6 AM and woke up at 8.30 AM, because I have to make it into the class (I skipped the class 3 times). So there.. I'm pretty much a nightwalker these days, since Mom went back to Jkt. I dunno maybe I'm still overwhelmed.. but I really need (and have to) put it together. This time, there's no room for error.

Ok.. So I went to the morning class for an hour then went to the library to hang out for a while with my friends. What's interesting here is I'm the only Indonesian here in Fisher College, period. So, I gotta hang out with Japanese, Chinese (mostly) and Korean friends. I also made friends with American as well. So at one point it's beneficial (for my English) sometime, it's a torture ('cause I have no people to speak Indonesian to). Then, went to Business class (Macro) and Math class (Stats) respectively. I don't know why today's classes seems so much fun. I laughed all the time. Today's pretty nice but also tiring.

O ya, today was snowing too! The wind, the snow.. today was super cold.

Me, So Far

Hi Guys...

I know, I take too long to post another blog. I've been super busy like, crazy busy. I'm still looking for an apartment but it's already down to two, not like yesterdays, Me and mom were so overwhelmed by it. So both apartments are in the city but one is furnished, one is not. It's super confusing, 'cause I need to compare and think about both of those apts and I need to do it quickly. The school's already started and Mom will leave in, like, 5 days. I'm studying at Fisher College and here's the photo of the school's building.

So.. I like Boston so far. I'm still living in the hotel tho, So.. it's nice. Of course. The weather is SO cold, my mom and I can stand it. We both bought anti-windchill coat, or whatever it is called and also some earmuffs cause our ears getting freezing every time we go out.

OK.. I wanna tell about my story so far. After a week in here, I felt okay tho.. not so great. Cause I need to think about everything, literally; the foods, the living cost, electric bill and other stuffs. I won't do that stuff until, next week, when I will already been living in here by myself. Also, we found some great Asian foods. I found 1 Chinese food takeout at the mall which is quite nice. Also, I found Vietnamese food in the Chinatown, which actually very nice. It's quite expensive tho, but I definitely will go back there.

Ok.. I just bought Wii game (Mama's Cooking) and a calculator that required for my study in college (I'm still amazed about the fact that I'm the college level Math!).

Greetings From Boston

Hello guys!

Now I'm in Boston.. It's friggin cold out here. Me and my mom were like walking frozen foods.. Just kidding.
Anyway..I just arrived last night on Thursday, 11.30PM (East time). We had 20 hours plus flight from Indonesia to New York and and hour plus more flight to Boston. We used SQ and Continental respectively.

First off We (especially Mom) really pissed off at my agent. She didn't inform or even contact us and tell about the arrangement here like where we stay, who will pick us the day after (she already told us about the airport-pickup) which is today and who should we meet. It's absolutely frustrating! But today we had arranged everything from hotel extensions, my stay here (I'm still looking forward fo the apartments even tho some people suggested me to stay in dorms), and mobile phone etc. So basically, she just did the f-ing paperworks, we did the tough jobs. Damn lady!

OK, Right now.. I'm really miss my dogs.. some families and definitely some of my friends.. And I Wish I can go back to Indonesia If everything works out here, then, we talk about visiting Indonesia. I'm still learning about the billing at the bank, phone bills and other things.. sigh, tired! tired!!!

A New Year Chronicle

Hello Guys! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Wish U all the best of luck.

First off, I got the US Visa! the student visa that is. I'm so delighted! It was a hell of a day. I woke up at 6.20 AM and I went to the embassy. After the queueing, the check ups, and all of that, I walked out of the embassy at 11 AM. I was super tired (my Mom had to stand on the sidewalks for hours. She stood there! thanks mom)

After I got the visa, I went straight to home for no. 2 and getting ready for New Year's Eve party. My family from my dad's side came to celebrate. We had sushis, BBQs and also some drinks courtesy my brother. My Mom made meatballs (bakso) and sate (pork & lamb). We all full and happy (except for some people that still on the diet.. more like sissies tho).

Anyway, I was super tired today.. slept for 10 hrs straight and getting lazy all day. Rockey also made sensation on the first day of 2008. He ate cockroach's poison. oMG! one silly Dog!
Okie dokie, I wanna go downstair to play Wii again and basically just enjoy my last 10 days in Indonesia.. and will come back in 2009. See ya peeps!
